חסדי השי"ת כי '''לא''' תמנו כי לא כלו רחמיו, וכבר היה לעולמים מעשיות כאלו '''והשי"ת''' הציל מידם.<br />

'''ואשר''' שאל מה לעשית, כפי הנראה מסתפק בדבר אם להסכים שיתגייר, מה אעשה כי אנכי לא אוכל להסכים ע"ז, דהרי מבואר בשו"ע סימן כס"ת סי"ב כשבא הגר להתגייר בודקין אחריו שמא עיניו נתן באשה יהודית. ובגמרא יבמות דף כ"ד ע"ב הוא פלוגתא דתנאי דלחד מ"ד אינו גר כלל אף בדיעבד כשנתגייר לשם אשה כסתמא דמתני' דמס' גרים ולחד מ"ד הוי גר בדיעבד, אבל לכתחילה בודאי דאין לקבלו לכל הדיעות כסתמא דברייתא שהביא אח"כ אין מקבלין גרים לימות המשיח ולא בימי דוד ושלמה.<br />

ומבואר בהגה י ת מרדכי פ' החולץ דאף לפי פסק ההלכה דהוי גר אינו אלא לאח"כ כשאנו רואים שמיישרים דרכיהם אעפ"י שנתגיירו מתחילה לשם אישות. וכן משמע גם לשון הרמב"ם ז"ל בפי"ג מהל' איסורי ביאה הל' ע"ז במ"ש שהוכיח סופן על תחילתן, ונראה מזה דאם לבסוף חוזר לסורו הוברר הדבר למפרע דלא הוי גירות. וכן מורה גם לשונו שבהל' י"ז המובא בשו"ע סימן דס"ת שכתב ה"ז גר אפילו נודע שבשביל דבר הוא מתגייר כיון שמל וטבל יצא מכלל העכו"ם וחוששים לו עד שיתברר צדקתו, ומשמע דספק יש בדבר עד שיתבררו מעשיו<br />

וזה נראה הטעם שאין מקבלין אותו לכתחילה דסברא הוא שיחזור לסורו אח"כ, דהרי אף בגרים שנתקבלו כדין שבדקו אחריהם ולא מצאו להם שום עילה כתב ג"כ הרמב"ם ז"ל בהל' י"ת שרובן חוזרין בשביל דבר ומטעין את ישראל, וכתב שזה הטעם שאמרו תכז"ל קשים גרים לישראל כנגע צרעת, ומימרא זו נאמרה בגמרא אף בגרים שנתגיירו כדינא כמבואר ביבמות מ"ז ע"ב שבשביל זה מודיעים להם מצות חמורות דאי פריש ליפרוש יעיי"ש. וק"ו בגר כזה שרואין הסיבה ואהבה התלויה בדבר.<br />
